The MyCSULB Student Center is a portal that provides a “home base” for accessing your college information. Click on the “MyCsulb” button once you have logged into your Single Sign-On portal using your Campus ID and password, to launch your Student Center. Based on the type of your information MyCSULB Student Center is organized into different sections.
The Center Portal displays summary information such as your class schedule, outstanding balance, and contact information. This website gives you all the screenshots and the directions on how to navigate through your MyCSULB Student Center to get all the information you need from your Student Record and has various options to select in order to access all of the information about transactions available.
The California State University Long Beach has made all the transactions easier for both students and employees with the MyCSULB portal. But by maintaining your MyCSULB account regularly, you can find and manage information at a single place.
Every CSULB student and employee has a specific BeachID Account. A BeachID Account has a nine-digit “username” similar to your Campus ID and your password.
You may log in to your account at https://csulb.okta.com. Simply enter your Campus ID and password and access your CSULB account.
The BeachID Account Manager is an online profile tool that you can efficiently use to manage your MyCSULB account. You can use the BeachID Password Manager to activate your account, reset your password if you have forgotten it, and change password or security questions on the account. New members of the MyCSULB portal of the University, both students and employees, will need to activate their BeachID account before using it.

The MyCSULB portal makes managing and monitoring the academic and employment transactions and records more convenient as well as efficient. With everything now accessible online on the portal, you don’t have to be physically present at the campus for carrying out important transactions and inquiries.

CSULB provides need-based financial aids. CSULB students may sign up for the financial aid and scholarship opportunities through the Financial Aid section of the MyCSULB portal. You can keep track of a to z of your to-do list when you sign up for financial aid, request financial aid forms, and view scheduled disbursement dates of your financial support scheme.
Your home address, mailing address, and contact information everything is contained in your personal information section. You can set up the User Preferences such that you could navigate through the My CSULB pages easily.
The Degree Planner helps undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students plan their path to graduation on time. It is MyCSULB’s online tool. For graduate students, all the features of the tool are not available. This is because of the restrictions of the student’s individual programs.
The Academics Requirement section lets you review your current as well as updated details concerning your progress toward completing your degree at CSULB. This interactive tool stores all of your complete and other enrolled courses at CSULB.It also contains all external coursework and credits from other institutions as wells.
Hold and To-Do Lists
The Hold and To-Do Lists feature of the portal helps students keep track of their urgent and essential items in their day to day life. This section contains all the necessary requirements that the student needs to comply with to register for a class or other time-sensitive actions.

Activating a MyCSULB account
You have to just enter your Campus ID number and your date of birth on the Activate Account page to begin the account activation. Click Next. Now you will be required to set your security questions and password for your portal account.
Reset a MyCSULB account
You may reset your account in case you forgot your login password. To Reset, you will be asked to enter your CSULB Campus ID number and date of birth. Find and click on the “Next” button and then follow the following instructions to complete the reset process.
Change password or security questions of your account
You will just need to click on Change Password / Security Questions if you want to modify your BeachID password and security questions. After that, you will need to login on all of your mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. On these device(s), you should use your new BeachID password provided so they may continue to receive your registered campus email and connect to campus wireless networks automatically.
How to Lookup an Email Address
The process of looking for a lost email address is the same as changing of password or resetting the MyCSULB account. You will need to type in your Campus ID number and date of birth at first. Now click on the Next button, and you will get the email address connected to the entered information provided.
