CSULB GPA Requirements
Csulb uses three different grade point averages (GPAs) to evaluate a student’s academic progress. So, to graduate, the student’s all three GPAs must be above a 2.0. In addition to overall GPA requirements, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 in all major courses is required for graduation.
- Overall GPA includes all the coursework for the major, including transferable courses from other institutions.
- CSULB GPA should also include all the coursework completed solely at CSULB.
- Major Cumulative GPA should include all the coursework for the major, including transferable coursework from other institutions.

If you’re currently a senior or junior, your GPA is hard to change in time for college applications. If your GPA is at or underneath the school regular of 3.56, you’ll need a higher SAT or ACT score to redress.
